Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-06-10

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NiceSiteChecker website at nicesitechecker.com, the NiceSiteChecker browser extension (the “Extension”), and the related backend service at api.nicesitechecker.com (together, the “Service”), operated by Neting Limited, a private limited company registered in Malta (“Neting”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

NiceSiteChecker provides website analytics and competitive-intelligence insights. The Service aggregates publicly available and licensed data from third-party providers and presents estimates of website traffic, keywords, backlinks, audience behavior, and related metrics in a unified dashboard and in-browser panel.

All figures shown by the Service are estimates derived from third-party data sources and statistical models. They are provided for informational purposes only and may differ — sometimes significantly — from a website’s actual metrics.

2. Accounts and Early Access

To use certain features you must create an account, either via Google sign-in or with an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Parts of the Service are currently offered as a limited beta (“Early Access”). Beta features are provided as-is, may change or be removed without notice, and may be subject to waitlists, quotas, or other access restrictions at our discretion.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its data without our prior written consent;
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service by automated means, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, or access controls;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service or the Extension, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • Use the Service to infringe the rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding third-party data), is owned by Neting Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

5. Third-party data and services

The Service relies on data and services from third-party providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party data. Your use of third-party services (such as Google sign-in) may be subject to those providers’ own terms.

6. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data provided will be accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neting Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred euros (€100) if you have not paid us anything.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 4, 7, 8, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be announced on this page, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta and applicable European Union law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
